Privacy, Purchases & Terms

This notice explains what Ashen Forgotten Kingdoms stores, why it is used, which service providers process it, and the terms that apply when you create an account or purchase game Credits.
Information we store
Account information: username, email address, internal account ID, account creation time, referral relationship, and authentication/session records.Game information: levels, experience, balances, equipment, actions, achievements, dungeon and World Boss activity, market activity, clans, referrals, logs, settings, and other progress required to operate the game.Communications: public chat, clan and trade chat, whispers, moderation actions, and reports. Whispers are private from other players but may be accessed by authorized staff when required to investigate abuse, security incidents, or rule violations.Security information: hashed network address and browser/device identifiers, login outcomes, request timing, wires, suspicious activity evidence, bans, and related moderation records. Hashing helps identify repeated activity without displaying the original value in the moderation interface.Notifications: device-specific push subscriptions and the notification choices you enable. A single account may have subscriptions for several browsers or devices.Purchases: PayPal order identifiers, amount paid, Credits delivered, purchase status, public anonymity preference, cumulative support used for titles, and any referral reward connected to the purchase.
Passwords and account security
Passwords are handled and stored as secure cryptographic hashes. The game database and game staff cannot read or recover your original password. Password reset links are sent only through the account recovery process. Keep your password private and use a password that you do not reuse elsewhere.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate accounts, save progress, run game systems, deliver purchases and referral rewards, provide notifications, investigate bugs and abuse, enforce the rules, prevent duplicated or fraudulent actions, recover transactions, and maintain the security and stability of the service.
Service providers and sharing
Personal information is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising . It is processed only by the services needed to operate the game: PayPal processes payments; configured email services deliver account messages; and browser or operating-system push services deliver notifications. These providers receive only the information needed for their function and apply their own privacy terms. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect players, the service, or its rights.
Information visible to other players
Your username, equipped title, public profile statistics, rankings, clan membership, public chat messages, market listings, and World Boss contributions may be visible to other players. Your email address, password, private payment details, security identifiers, and private account records are not shown publicly.
Purchases and virtual Credits
Payments are processed by PayPal in USD. The game does not receive or store your full card number, bank credentials, or PayPal password.
Credits are delivered only after PayPal confirms a completed payment. Pending purchases can be checked again without charging twice.
The Anonymous option hides the buyer's username only from the public purchase announcement. The payment remains privately connected to the purchasing account for delivery, support, security, and referral processing.
Verified referral purchases may award the referring player 10% of the delivered Credits, rounded down, under the referral rules shown in the game.
Credits, Bound Credits, titles, boosts, autos, and other game benefits are virtual items with no guaranteed real-world cash value. Features, prices, balance, and availability may change as the game develops.
Cancelled or unverified orders deliver no Credits. Refunds and payment disputes are handled according to applicable law and PayPal procedures. Refunded or reversed purchases may result in the corresponding virtual benefits being removed.
Local storage and sessions
The site uses browser storage for your login session, interface preferences, theme, unread indicators, notification settings, and safe recovery of pending purchases. The game does not use this information for third-party advertising. Clearing browser data may sign you out and remove device-specific preferences.
Retention, access, and deletion
Account and game records are retained while needed to provide the service. Purchase, security, moderation, and transaction records may be retained longer when required for fraud prevention, dispute handling, enforcement, or legal obligations. You may ask game staff to review, correct, or delete eligible personal information. Some records may need to be retained or anonymized, and deleting an account may permanently remove access to its progress and virtual items.
Game rules and availability
You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Follow the published game and chat rules, do not exploit bugs or use prohibited automation, and report security problems privately. Accounts may be muted, suspended, or banned for rule violations, abuse, fraud, or threats to the service. The game is under active development and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the game or its providers change. The updated date above will change with material revisions. Continuing to use the service after an update means the revised terms apply from that point, subject to rights provided by applicable law.
